Harry Potter and the Totally Unexpected Comparison
By the sound of it, little Harry Potter is all growds
up.
Daniel Radcliffe, who in addition to being the face of one of the biggest franchises in film history, has not only remained levelheaded throughout his teens
but has actually developed into a pretty good actor, is talking about the sixth
of seven (or maybe it's seven-and-a-half or even eight) Harry Potter
movies,
Half-Blood Prince, which is due out this
November.

And in comments published by
WENN, Radcliffe is making some rather bold and
strange claims. He says of the almost-certain PG-13 film, "There's a fair amount
of sexual energy and drug parallels. We have a couple of
Trainspotting moments."
Read that again: "There's a fair amount of sexual energy
and drug parallels. We have a couple of Trainspotting moments."
Wow. And you thought conservative Christians in the
midwest would have plenty to protest with just the witchcraft angle...but this, well, this is something else entirely.
That's a strange comparison, all right, aligning a boy
wizard with drug-addled dropouts, and even Radcliffe knows it sounds a bit odd.
"That's two films I never thought would be mentioned in the same breath," admits
the actor, who is very clearly right.
So this November, choose life. Choose a job. Choose a
family. Choose Harry Potter and the Half-Brood Prince.
