Watch the First 'Saw V' Teaser Trailer

And so here we are, approaching August, which means we're approaching October slowly but surely. If we're approaching October, that means we're approaching another Saw movie. You can set your watch by it, although setting your calendar by it might be the more accurate way to go. I admire the series for trying to do new things. The horror genre is incredibly stale, and you know that's true when some of the films that helped establish the genre are being cranked out as PG-13 flicks with very little gore to speak of. Saw has plenty of gore. Gore to spare. It has Al Gore. For Saw V, we know that Jigsaw probably won't be back in any real way. Despite what this poster may appear to show, Tobin Bell's character has seen better days. But that doesn't mean his games are over. At the end of the fourth chapter, it actually felt like they were just beginning. There's a new teaser trailer for Saw V, and it doesn't reveal a whole lot, but then, if I remember correctly none of the trailers for the sequels have been all that informative. That's actually a good thing when you have a brand people love and you want to keep the audience guessing. I can tell you this much: Beware of Costas Mandylor... Saw V arrives on October 24th.
