Trailer - Pixar's 'Up'

Forty-something seconds of pure joy. That pretty much sums up the teaser trailer for Disney Pixar's Up, which is notable in the Pixar timeline because it's the company's last movie before Toy Story 3, which will be a full-on 3-D thing, and I suspect that could change Pixar forever.

The teaser debuted at Comic Con, and now it's out there in the ether. We don't learn a whole lot - which is usually the case with a teaser - but we know that, much like Sex in the City, the main character is in his 70s (he'll greet you in a moment), and that he's kind of a fantasy hero, too, fighting beasties and so forth. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I think it involves balloons.

Edward Asner, Christopher Plummer, and - of course - John Ratzenberger lend their voices to the project.

Up will be in theaters May 29th. I'm guessing it will do pretty well for itself.
