New Clip for 'Pineapple Express' Gives James Franco an Ass Kicking
Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10:29AM
There are plenty of bad words in this clip from
Pineapple Express, in which
Seth Rogen and
James Franco come to blows with
Danny McBride. So, you know, turn the speakers
down if you're at work.
Still, it has its moments, like when I believe James
Franco yells "herpes" in the middle of a fight. We don't get the context of the beating, but we know it has to do with
either marijuana, the killing that Rogen's character sees that sets him and his
friend Franco on the run from a corrupt cop, or a combination of the two.
And as if it's taken right out of the movie, there's a
rumor swirling around that Seth Rogen was
booted out of his own party for not extinguishing a joint. Somewhere, probably
in South Texas, Willie Nelson is smiling.
Pineapple Express comes out next Friday, and James Franco is on Letterman tonight, if you're interested. Thanks to MovieWeb for the unrated clip.
By the by, I really dig the song used in the trailer; can anyone help me out and tell me what that is?

The song is Paper Planes by M.I.A. It works really well for that trailer.
I'm not feeling this movie. What gives with the Rocker? Is it a turd?
