Trailer - 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'

As promised earlier in the day, here's the new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. They don't show this in the trailer, of course, but I think this is the movie where Ron Weasley dies.

Just kidding.

We do get the sinister young Voldemort, played by the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, a kid named Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.

Take a look.

Yeesh. That kid is unfriendly. The new Harry Potter flick hits theaters on November 21st. Many thanks to Worst Previews for scurrying to land the trailer.

This is a kids movie?

No. It's PG-13. The past two Potter movies have been PG-13, as well, just like The Dark Knight.

I am a certified Harry Potter geek. I'm like 2 rungs below the people that dress up. When the last book came out I read it in like 24 hours. No sleep required. I am psyched about this movie. The movies have all been done quite well. I hope they keep up the streak! IMHO, Azkaban is still the best movie though. Alfonso Curon (I don't know about my spelling) is a damn genius.

Azkaban and Goblet were the best so far because of their carefully measured mix of humour and darkness. Phoenix was a bit too much darkness. We'll see what they do this time but I doubt it'll be very funny.

You can't say that the Phoenix move was "too dark". It was following a close to the book as possible. Harry, Ron and Hermoine aren't 11 year old children anymore. I'm glad that the moves are getting PG-13 ratings, it shows that they aren't trying to 'fluff it up' for the children and stray from the books.
