British TV Kubrick Promo Pays Homage to 'The Shining'

Please do not make the mistake of thinking rival British TV outlets More 4 and BBC4 are the same thing. BBC 4 carries arts programming, documentaries, music, international film and the like, while More 4 brings England arts programming, documentaries, music, international film, and the like. I don't even know how you could make that mistake, frankly.

More 4 would be a hub for Anglophiles here in the states, if, in fact, Rupert Murdoch's Sky Digital shared its programming here in the U.S. Sadly, that's not the case. But without going into too much detail - you can check out their site for that - More 4 brings you the good stuff. Beginning July 15th, they're running Stanley Kubrick Season, a ten-day overview of his brilliant career in film. And they're just giving us the good stuff, so no Eyes Wide Shut here.

Instead, the season is devoted to documentaries about Kubrick plus some of his greatest films. This is the promo for Stanley Kubrick Season airing on More 4, a little tip of the cap to The Shining I think you'll enjoy.
