It's Alive! 'Step Brothers' Develops New Movie Poster Technology

Later this month,
Will Ferrell and
John C. Reilly will star in and as
Step
Brothers, which looks like it could be really funny or it could be a really
funny idea with seven great jokes and that's it. I love the supporting cast,
especially
Mary Steenburgen (always underrated) and
Richard Jenkins (finally
less underrated thanks to The Visitor).
In the movie, Will and John find out that they'll be step brothers, after
Ferrell's mom marries Reilly's dad. Sophomoric actions ensue.
We love the poster, which has already won a Golden Trailer award for Best
Comedy Poster of the year. But the Olan Mills style shots are starting to be
done to death, so Ferrell's
Funny or Die has a variation on the theme for us: Here's a
"Living Movie Poster" for Step Brothers.
Look for the hijinks on July 25th.
