Trailer - Take a Ride Into Hell with...uh...'Hell Ride'

hellrideposter1.jpgThough we may have differences about Tarantino's upcoming Inglorious Bastards - whether it should be two movies, whether it's actually going to get made this year - I think we can agree that as a producer or a "presenter," Tarantino has always had a pretty keen eye for the most part.

All I need for proof is Hero, one of the absolute best films from 2004. I'm still not sure exactly what QT did there, but he put his name on it. He had nothing to do with making the film, though. But there is an art to presenting; witness Vanna White, for instance. OK, bad example.

This year, Tarantino is "presenting" another film that you would associate him with even if his name wasn't in bold print on the poster, Larry Bishop's Hell Ride. QT is also an executive producer on the film, a position he's held on films going all the way back to Killing Zoe in 1994. This is Bishop's second film as a director - the first, Mad Dog Time, was viciously attacked by Roger Ebert, who said that the film should be cut into free ukulele picks for the poor - so clearly, he's hoping for a better result.

It's a biker gang movie, about some "deadly, unfinished business" between Pistolero (Bishop), Scratch (Dennis Hopper), and The Gent (Michael Madsen). Vinnie Jones also co-stars, and it should be pointed out that Jones is a real bad-ass. So, you know, he probably won't be a shrinking violet amid the violence here.

There's a new trailer for Hell Ride, so take a gander:

The film was part of this year's Sundance Film Festival, and hits theaters on August 8th.

The least you could have done would have been to say you ripped this video from comingsoon.net. Show some respect.

Had I actually even visited ComingSoon.net for that trailer, I guess I could've done that. I actually went to iKlipz. And I didn't "rip" anything, since there's an embed code visible to everyone.
