Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 6:59PM Simon Pegg Talks About His Next Edgar Wright Movie
Simon Pegg can be seen next month in the comedy
How to Lose
Friends and Alienate People, but when The Big Picture spoke to
Pegg recently, we were looking ahead just a little bit. Knowing that he's sworn
to secrecy about
Star Trek, in which he reinvents the role
of Scotty, we asked what's on the radar for Pegg and his
Shaun of the
Dead/Hot
Fuzz collaborators,
Nick Frost and director
Edgar Wright.
Pegg confirmed that in the coming months, he and Frost
will be working on the roadtrip comedy they wrote called
Paul.
Greg Mottola
(Superbad) is on board to direct the journey of two British comic book
geeks alone in America. But that's not the extent of the updates:
"Edgar and me will eventually get back into the office
when we're done with our respective other projects and come up with the third
film in what we call the 'Blood and Ice Cream' trilogy," Pegg told us.
"We really want to get on with that," he added. "We
finished Hot Fuzz and other things came up and we agreed, 'Let's go do a
couple other things and come back together' and then those things obviously take
up time."
While he wouldn't say what the movie would be about,
there is a working title: The World's End. "But I don't think it will be
called that because it suggests something that it isn't about," Pegg insisted.
He's been down that road before with working titles,
recalling the bind he and Frost got themselves into talking about Hot Fuzz
before there was anything more than a premise. "The trouble when we spoke about
Hot Fuzz on the Shaun of the Dead tour was that, that was like a
year before we wrote Hot Fuzz. So [after Shaun] people were like,
'OK: Where's Hot Fuzz?'"

Viagra without prescription has been releasing a lot of articles, I think they are a good piece of information, specially if we are interested in this kind of sources as a British comedy.
