Eva Longoria Longing To Be In 'The Avengers'?

The watchful eye of Flawed Hollywood spotted Eva Longoria walking out of the Marvel Studios offices in Los Angeles, carrying a bunch of comic books, including an issue of The Avengers, and as we know, there will be a movie version of that comic in three years. What could this possibly mean?

Well, there is a character called Wasp in The Avengers, who becomes the wife of Ant-Man down the line. That's the most viable option if you think the way that site and this site thinks, namely that the Desperate Housewives star was talking bidness.

I can't really see Eva as a superhero, and in fact, have great difficulty buying her as much more than a basketball fan. But she's on a big TV show, she knows people, and if she was interested in that role or any other Marvel role, I'm sure the comic book company would entertain a meeting, even if they have no plans to use her.

Still, it's curious. This photo looks completely pre-fabricated to me. Longoria doesn't own a satchel of some kind? She's just carrying these comic books loose like that? Come on. She knows there's a good chance the paparazzi would be following her (or she may have even known they'd be on her tail), and with the new season of Housewives starting and with comic book movies making immediate headlines right now, there's no better time to be caught walking out of the offices of the biggest comic company on the planet, carrying an issue of one of their titles due for a big screen adaptation...facing the camera.

Is this a story? I dunno. It's a headline. We'll leave it at that for now.

One of them is a Fantastic Four issue. Maybe they keep them in the office as freebees instead of Candy.

I feel sorry for that she was caught with such a bizarre expression on her face.
