First Look at Kate and Leo in 'Revolutionary Road'

One of the last potential Oscar nominees to hit theaters, Revolutionary Road stars the Titanic tandem of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. The film, based on a novel by Richard Yates, is directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, The Road to Perdition). The title belies the subject matter; this is actually a relationship drama, and I guess you could say it's kind of an American Beauty of the 1950s. It's about a married couple that feels constricted by their pursuit of the American dream, with DiCaprio bored at his job and Winslet resentful that she gave up a chance at an acting career to stay at home. They bicker and their relationship crumbles. Entertainment Tonight got a first look at some scenes from Revolutionary Road, which they've compiled into a kind of video synopsis. It's narrated by Mary Hart, for which I apologize.
