My friend Todd hipped me to this great alternative to
the real
Watchmen movie, which is embroiled in
a bunch of
legal nonsense at the moment. Warner Bros. and Fox will go to court
in January to decide if Fox, which owned the rights to the movie back in the
1990s and claims because certain t's weren't crossed, it still does, will be
entitled to a significant cut of the action when
Zack Snyder's
adaptation is released.
The lawsuit could delay that release, but since the
judge in the case has experience with this very kind of problem, the odds are it
will be resolved one way or another by the March 6th target date.
So hopefully, we won't need to rely on a Lego version of
Watchmen, but just in case,
