See Exclusive 'Wolf Man' Footage...On a Tram

I guess I don't think about amusement parks as much as I used to. I'm not a kid, I don't have any kids, and I don't live in Los Angeles or Orlando. But they're still there, and Universal Studios is enticing you to head to Hollywood around Halloween for an exclusive preview of The Wolf Man on Terror Tram: The Nightmare Tour.

As you know, Wolf Man won't be in theaters until next year, April 3rd to precise, but Universal is giving you a sneak peek, although it will apparently cost you twice as much as last year's tram ride, according to IGN. Some of that could be to pay for fire insurance. Just a hunch.

The Terror Tram will take you past the ever-creepy Bates Motel and "into the menacing locations of Universal's legendary backlot."

There's also a Nightmare on Elm Street maze this year during Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, which run every Friday and Saturday in October, and throw in a extra Thursday for you on October 30th. I've been to Universal Studios twice in California and once in Florida. I have to say I'm a little envious of those who get to see the Wolf Man footage. It'd be cooler if they got Benicio Del Toro to serve as the tram-bound tour guide, or better yet: Emily Blunt. Somehow, I think the odds of that are slim.

But that's not all: Jim Hill Media reports that Universal is completely rebuilding their King Kong attraction, which was damaged by the fire on the lot several months ago. This incarnation will be based on Peter Jackson's remake. "I'm told that Universal's ride designers have been looking at the Jackson film's Kong-versus-V-Rex battle sequence for inspiration," writes Hill. That won't be open this Halloween, however, which gives me another reason to go back.

Damn, and I thought I was through with amusement parks.
