Red Band Trailer - Kevin Smith's 'Zack and Miri Make a Porno'

After winning his battle to ensure that Zack and Miri Make a Porno would not receive the NC-17 kiss of death from the MPAA, Kevin Smith's new comedy now has a new Red Band Trailer, which we found over at Trailer Addict. We're raising the F-Bomb Threat Level to Orange.

The deal goes: Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks are lifelong friends and soon-to-be-evicted roommates. To bolster their cash flow, they make a porn movie, because as Rogen says, "Anybody likes watching anybody f***ing!" Not entirely true, but also not entirely untrue.

One question the trailer doesn't answer is where the broke roommates get the money for camera equipment and boom mics. One question it does answer is how Star Wars fits into these people's lives. How surprising! After all, they're Kevin Smith characters.

Roll it!

I don't even think that's the funniest trailer for an Elizabeth Banks movie I've seen in the past month (I much preferred Role Models), but I'll stop right there so I don't get some rocks thrown through my windows by the View Askew devotees. I do think Craig Robinson's funny in it, though. And yes, that was Traci Lords as Bubbles. Zack and Miri opens on Halloween.
