Check Out Six Clips from the Season Premiere of 'Heroes'

After nine months of waiting - and by some accounts, even longer if you hated what you saw in season two - Heroes returns tonight on NBC. Season three is subtitled Heroes: Villains, which means just what you think it means.

We'll get more villains, and Zachary Quinto hinted earlier this year that the Villains chapter will last 13 episodes, while creator Tim Kring says you can look for the fourth chapter, Fugitives, to make up the last half of the season. Meanwhile, Hayden Panettiere says the real villains are Japanese whale poachers.

Thanks to Movie Web for the clips. So can Heroes rebound from the sophomore slump? It's hit a ton of shows over the years, and I'd say that Lost hit a slump in its junior year. It's got to be tough planning out five or six years of a series and not have a few lulls, just because you can't show your hand all the way through. Comic Con reaction to season three footage was encouraging, and again, plenty of people think it could only improve from the second year.
