Another Look at Baz Luhrmann's 'Australia'

We finally have another trailer for Baz Luhrmann's Australia, the sweeping WWII-era epic starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. While I still love the look of the film, I'm not sure the addition of some of these scenes makes Australia come off as more interesting.

Still, it's been a labor of love for Baz for years and years, and I won't second guess him at this point because he's just such a good filmmaker. But I prefer the teaser trailer.

I dunno...maybe the insertion of the phrase "Their love defied destiny." Eww.

Australia will be released on November 26th.

One correction - it comes out on Nov. 26. And I guess it matters if you're male or female - your "ewww" is what I loved!!!! I think this trailer is aimed more towards females since it has more of the romantic element in it and it was first shown during "Desperate Housewives".

You are correct; this was one of the Potter aftershocks. They moved it from the 14th to the 26th.
