Trailer - Daniel Craig in 'Flashbacks of a Fool'
Monday, September 29, 2008 at 7:44AM
Daniel Craig is not content to merely be James
Bond. In fact, the same month
Casino Royale was released, Craig could be seen
play murderer Perry Smith, whose complicated relationship with author Truman
Capote was at the heart of Infamous. We've also seen him opposite Nicole
Kidman a couple of times in The Golden Compass and The Invasion.

And later this year, we will see him play one of three
Jewish brothers who escapes from Nazi-ruled Poland to start a resistance in the
Belarusian forests in
Defiance. That movie opens in December, a month
after
Quantum of Solace.
And there's his new DVD release,
Flashbacks of a Fool, in which Craig plays a
fading movie star who gets caught up in memories of his youth as he prepares to
head home to England for a friend's funeral. By the looks of that picture, he's having a tough go of it. That, or he really hates the beaches in southern California.According to
the official
website, the movie is already on sale on DVD (I think that's just in
the UK, though). For American audiences, you can check it out on November 4th,
which is good timing considering Quantum of Solace is just ten days
later.
Here's the trailer for Flashbacks of a Fool, courtesy of
Crave, which was in theaters throughout Europe this summer, but never made it to the
states:
