Win 'Burn After Reading' Tickets or Posters

burnposter1.jpgJust a mid-week reminder that we're running a very cool Burn After Reading contest right now for Big Picture readers wherever they may be. For obvious reasons, it's easiest to do movie ticket giveaways for those of you who are geographically close to me, so to this point, we've only done tickets for sneak previews around the Phoenix area. There is still some chatter back and forth about doing a nationwide ticket giveaway one day to see how it goes, but as you can imagine, it's hard to put all that together.

But because we don't want to leave the rest of you out in the cold, we usually offer a DVD or something to our out-of-town readers when we have tickets to the premiere for the locals. This week, we do have Burn After Reading tickets for the Big Picture Premiere on September 11th, but that's not of any use to you if you're in Miami or Harrisburg. But that's OK, because we've got posters and t-shirts from Burn After Reading for you. (I think that's a hell of a consolation prize).

How do you win, wherever you are? Each week, we present a brand new Top Five list, and if you're new to The Big Picture, we've actually been doing it for four years on radio and online, but we only have this year's lists archived. They're self-explanatory. This week, for example, we want you to name the Top Five Coen Brothers Movies. Based on your selections and my own thoughts on the matter, we'll put together the list and publish it on Friday. And if you cast your vote for the Top Five, you're automatically in the running to win whatever the prize happens to be that week. We'll draw winners at random this Friday, meaning your vote has to be in by Thursday night at 10pm.

So if you want to see Burn After Reading, or if you want some cool swag from the movie, drop us a line, and good luck.

Brad Pitt can be so funny, as long as he's not taking himself too seriously... in any case, it's about time someone made good use of his habitually spastic arm movements
