New 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Photos

Even though we'll have to wait another ten months to see the next Harry Potter movie, we're getting loads of sneak peeks because the film is practically done already. So, production photos, trailers, clips - we should see oodles of them between now and July 2009.

Case in point: Rotten Tomatoes now has 47 production stills from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and some of them are brand new. Did you know, for example, that one of the Geico cavemen went to Hogwarts? Oh...wait. I'm sorry, that's just a young Dumbledore. My mistake.

David Yates, in my opinion, did a great job with Order of the Phoenix, so I'm glad he's back in the fold. Actually, because they've expanded the series to eight films, Yates will direct the last half of the Harry Potter journey, and it's not like they've had a shortage of good directors at the helm.

I know we can't judge much based on production photos, but there's something unique in almost all the shots I've seen from Half-Blood Prince, whether it's the maturity of its young stars, or a menacing look, or as is the case in one of these pictures, a shocking lime green curtain that looks so completely out of place that it's a bit disconcerting.

Half-Blood Prince will finally arrive on July 19th.

I'm pissed they pushed this back from November. I want to see what they do with this movie.

Uh, am I the only one noticing that the guy who plays Draco looks more like he's 26 than 16? Couldn't they get some better makeup on him?

They probalbly made Draco look like that because of the job he is given.....and thats prolly Dumbledore.....when he was younger duh...they can look back in the past you know!!
