The
Hollywood Reporter says that
Edward Norton
will play twins (an Ivy League professor and a small-town marijuana grower) in
the new film
Leaves of Grass, written and directed by his
Incredible Hulk co-star
Tim Blake
Nelson, who is best remembered for his role as Delbert in O Brother
Where Art Thou.
Norton joins
Susan Sarandon,
Richard
Dreyfuss,
Lucy DeVito, and singer-songwriter
Steve Earle.
Keri Russell
may be added to the cast, as well. "There have been only a couple of times in my
career that I've gone, 'That's exactly what I want to do,'" revealed Norton at a
press conference announcing the film in Toronto. "It felt very complete."
In Leaves of Grass, described as a comedic thriller, the professor
portrayed by
Norton is coerced back
to his hometown in Oklahoma by his bad seed brother to help in a scheme against
a local drug lord, played against type by Richard Dreyfuss.
