I Dare You to Wear These Comic Book-Inspired Shoes

Remember Underoos? Perhaps I'm dating myself with that reference, but Underoos were matching shirt and undwear combos that featured superhero logos, and years later, included things like The A-Team and Knight Rider. I think they may still make Underoos in some form, but that's not the point.

Now, there are equally tacky superhero fashions for adults, and DC Comics is leading the way. They've partnered with ACI International to make Batman, The Joker, and Superman sneakers. You can pick them up starting September 29th through Limited Soles. According to RepCodes, these shoes are based on the Nike Air Force One design, which I guess means that when you strap the Man of Steel to your feet, you'll be as graceful as George W. Bush.

As you can see from the photos below, these have a little more of a concept than just slapping a logo onto shoe leather; there's some actual storyline on the sneakers. Each pair of shoes will be individually numbered - for the sake of collectors, one assumes - and they'll come packaged in a comic book-themed box.

Good luck matching those Superman shoes with, well, anything. These designs probably won't be around long; each brand is only being produced in numbers that match the creation of the character. So that means there will only be 1,938 pair of Superman shoes, 1,939 pair of Batman shoes, and 1,940 pair of Joker shoes.

Admittedly, it would have been hot to roll up into the midnight screening of The Dark Knight in your bad-ass Joker sneaks, but maybe you can throw 'em on when you have your DVD release party.

my dad just found an online shop. the online store is selling wide variety of well priced designer clothes. the store is listing the merchandise with up to 75% discounts. my mother really needs to buy a pair before the weekend but not confident that order is going to be brought in right on time. I am considering to purchase those gucci shoes but havent decided yet.
