Jessica Alba: Math Genius!

Variety has the latest update on the career of
Jessica Alba,
which has been stuck in neutral for quite a while. She will star in the modern
fable An Invisible Sign of My Own, about a woman who is so obsessed with
numbers and math that she has kind of become isolated from the real world.
Obsessed with math? Yeah, that sounds like Jessica Alba.
"Things begin to change when she becomes a second-grade
math teacher," reports the trade, although I'm not sure what that means. Don't
look for this to be a big affair; it is being produced by Silverwood Films and
iDeal Partners Film Fund and will be released by Endeavor's independent film
wing.
I have to admit, I completely whiffed on Jessica Alba.
Three years ago I thought she was going to be a huge star - because, well, look
at her - and since then, she's had to wear a giant "4" on her jumpsuit to get
anyone to pay attention.
