Roundtable Interviews: The Actresses

About a week ago, we brought you a series of roundtable interviews with some of the year's top directors, including Golden Globe winner Danny Boyle. The Hollywood Reporter has put together quite a collection of year-end interviews, and now we've got part one of two with some of the year's best actresses: Amy Adams, Sally Hawkins, Emma Thompson, Taraji P. Henson, and Michelle Williams.

The interviews cover the actresses' inspirations, the moments they knew they wanted to do this for a living, as well as a little talk about the films that have them on everyone's minds at the moment. I particularly like how outspoken Taraji P. Henson is.

There's more of this stuff to come, including a few more chats with the actresses, and a sit-down with several writers behind some of the year's biggest awards season films.
