'Twilight' DVD In Stores March 21st

Twilight is set to be released on DVD on March 21st, which is such a coincidence because that's also, as I'm sure you know, National Abstain From Sex with a Brooding Vampire Day. What luck!

The film is already something of a pop culture touchstone, with a massively successful series of books setting up the fourth-largest opening weekend of 2008. Twilight singlehandedly made Summit Entertainment a more competitive studio, at least in the short term, and it made instant stars out of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

With $185 million in domestic earnings and counting and over $300 million in the global markets, Twilight was one of the biggest success stories of the year.

And now it's coming to DVD:

"The Twilight Two-Disc Special Edition DVD has a suggested retail price of $32.99 and is packed with bonus features that are sure to please even the most-hard core Twilighter. They include extended and deleted scenes, three music videos, a commentary with director Catherine Hardwicke, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, a featurette on the “Comic-Con Phenomenon” and an in-depth, seven-part documentary, The Adventure Begins: The Journey from Page to Screen, that takes the fan through each step of the film-making process."

The line forms to the left...

Not gonna lie, this is going to be a day-one purchase for me (on Blu-Ray, of course). Honestly one of the most entertaining movies (unintentionally, of course) of last year. Can't wait to make a drinking game out of this for me and my friends- it'll be epic.
