Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 4:04AM Zombirific Posters for 'Dead Snow'
If you happened to look at our gallery of the best movie posters of 2008, you probably would've noticed that not all of the posters were from films you knew by heart. In fact, for a lot of lower budget or foreign films, the better or more appealing the poster is, the greater point of differentiation it creates, thereby becoming a movie that sticks in people's heads without them ever having seen a frame of film.
We don't have any clue when Dead Snow (Død snø) will open in the United States, or even if it will. It just got its start in its native Norway a couple of weeks ago, and it's such an unusual concept for a movie, it would either go over like gangbusters, or people would avoid it altogether.
What happens when you pair the time-honored horror movie tradition of teens on vacation with Nazi zombies? This, apparently. Yes, instead of running from a guy in a hockey mask or even normal zombies, these Norwegian skiers have come face to face with the undead from the Third Reich.

Hot damn! If we find out anything about an American release date, we'll let you know.
