Security Guard Stabs 'Bloody Valentine' Patron

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the movies...

On the heels of Friday's movie theater shooting that may or may not have had anything to do with Notorious, Fox is reporting that a security guard at a Long Island multiplex has been arrested for stabbing a patron.

What?

The story goes that Ricardo Singh was directing audience members out of the theater after a showing of My Bloody Valentine 3-D when an argument broke out with a 16-year-old ticket buyer. The teen reportedly told Singh he wanted to wait inside for his ride, after which an argument broke out, pushing and shoving commenced, and the guard rammed his folding knife into the teenager's stomach.

If he'd only seen Paul Blart: Mall Cop, he would have known the protocol.

We can wonder why the 16-year-old was allowed to see one of the goriest mainstream horror movies in the past few years (rules are rules, Mr. Theater Manager Man), but the real issue is, who lets the security guard walk around with a knife?

It wasn't a life-threatening injury or anything, but still. Singh was arrested and charged with assault, and probably missed out on that Employee of the Month award.

There's just been too many angry movie patrons. I can understand when people are loud and annoying but wanting to wait inside for a ride, what a douche.

Why have all these incidents been popping up lately? I mean maybe I could understand if the patron just paid to see a Movie Movie.

I've seen some Movie movies...I'd rather get stabbed by a security guard who didn't know what he was doing...
