Weekend Recap: 'Notorious' Shooting, 'Watchmen' Settlement, Joaquin Raps

The top movie story right now is an ongoing one - The Sundance Film Festival. It will officially continue through this weekend, although for independent film, carrying the banner of Sundance is a year-long deal. But that's not the only thing going on, and in fact, with the Oscar nominations announced this coming Thursday, Sundance will even take a back seat for a while.

But over the weekend, we found a few items that might pique your interest. Some we wrote about - including the bizarre scene in North Carolina where a man got shot in a theater showing Notorious while the star of the movie was in attendance - and others we couldn't get to.
