More 'Notorious' Violence Hospitalizes Four

In the past five days, there have been three reported acts of violence associated with new movies now in theaters. There was the strange stabbing of a teenage My Bloody Valentine ticket buyer by a security guard at a Long Island theater, and the weekend kicked off with a shooting at a North Carolina theater, which is speculated to be linked in some way to crowds seeing Notorious.

There's another Notorious incident, this time in B.I.G.'s hometown. Four partygoers were stabbed Saturday night at the Djumbala Club in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn. The party had been billed as an "official" after-party, although Fox Searchlight denies being involved with the party on any level.

Three victims were treated at Brookdale hospital and were listed in stable condition, while a fourth victim, a 21-year-old male, was in critical condition after receiving multiple stab wounds.
