Casting Call for 'Twilight' Sequel, 'New Moon'

René Haynes, the casting director for New Moon, this year's follow-up to the smash hit Twilight, has announced an open casting call for the film, which is scheduled to go into production in a couple of months. The film will be released in November.

Casting Scoop has all the details, as well as a few auditioning pointers, but if you're young Native American, you may have a shot:

"Seeking Native American Teens and Young Adults," the posting begins, "Casting Director René Haynes and her staff are very happy to accommodate any Native teens and young adults (who look very youthful) who are interested in sending them an audition."

So there you go. The next steps are to submit a photo and a contact number to info@rhcasting.com by January 30th. I have a feeling if you get cast, you'll be squarely on team Jacob.

I've been acting and co-directing short films for the last 20 years. I love all kinds of movies and thoroughly enjoyed Twilight. I'm 42 yrs. old now and was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis so my acting has taken a hiatus but I still write and co-direct with my best friend Greg. Like I said, he and I have been making films since we got our first super 8 mm camera in 1978. If anything I could play a victim as I have been killed in a couple of our films we've done. I was born and raised in Memphis Tn. and worked the club scene on Beale St. as a waiter/bartender for years. I moved to the Smoky Mtns. when I became ill and have been here since. I'm still very anxious to get back to acting and if there's any part for an older character, bit or other, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks for listening.
