New 'Friday the 13th' Poster Keeps It Simple

You know what I like about this poster for Friday the 13th ? I like that the movie knows exactly what it's selling. We're lining up to see Jason Voorhees go after a bunch of teenagers with large bladed weapons. We want to see the mask.
Poster courtesy of IMP Awards I mean, really, that's about perfect. It doesn't need anything else. This movie marketing thing ain't brain surgery, you know. And all in all, I have really been impressed by how the Friday the 13th reboot has been presented to this point. The TV ads that came out around Christmas were OK, but the first trailer we saw a couple weeks before that was excellent. And, believe it or not, the press is actually getting a chance to see this, and not just the night before it opens, which is a common practice for horror movies. Could it be we've got something to look forward to here?
