Trailer - 'Harry Potter' is Turning Japanese

"Konichiwa," says Daniel Radcliffe, introducing a Japanese TV audience to this new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It probably doesn't need to be spelled out for you, but they do things their own way in the Land of the Rising Sun. Just watch the game shows.

But this trailer is kind of different in its presentation, too, or at least the TV network showing it is forcing a strange presentation onto it. The voiceover takes away from some of the dialogue, and then, for whatever reason, there's the closing credits to some other movie in the lower right hand corner. Peculiar.

I think I've seen about 80% of the stuff in this trailer before, maybe more, but it's certainly a different perspective than the one we're used to.

Half-Blood Prince opens July 17th.

I think those credits in the corner are from Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler starring Best Actor Nominee Mickey Rourke. If you listen closely you can hear Bruce Springsteen singing in the background.
