New 'Mutant Chronicles' Red Band Trailer

There's a brand new trailer for Mutant Chronicles over at IGN. I didn't much care for the first trailer, which was released months and months ago. It was too safe, too predictable.

The new Red Band trailer is miles beyond that one. You can see its visual style a lot more clearly (a key in sci-fi flicks), and you become familiar with the characters without needing to be beaten down by plot points. I will reveal a little bit about the plot: It's 700 years in the future, John Malkovich is still a bad ass, and Thomas Jane has to keep mutants from taking over the world. I think that about sums it up.

Why this is Red Band, I really have no idea. There's an impaling, so maybe that's it, but it's also all the more reason to watch, don't you agree?

The Mutant Chronicles will be released on April 24th.

There's nothing new about this Trailer. It's pretty much the same as the second one.

The film is a piece of shit and it still looks like shit.
