Thursday, January 29, 2009 at 8:50PM Another 'Arrested Development' Confirmation
You wouldn't think that the Arrested Development movie would take so much arm twisting. Once creator and writer Mitchell Hurwitz said he'd like to do it, everyone else was ready to go.

Except Michael Cera.
The young breakout star of the dearly departed Fox series has said, in essence, he didn't see what a movie would accomplish or why any fan of the show would want to see it, revising that stance this month to say that the movie was "hypothetical," and until it's a concrete entity, he wouldn't commit one way or the other.
And now the patriarch has spoken. Jeffrey Tambor, who played banana/shoddy real estate magnate George Bluth on the show, told Gatecrasher that the movie is on. No questions asked.
“If I have to call him up and say, ‘Get on set right now, young man,’ he’ll be there,” vows Tambor. Stepping it up a notch, he added, “The movie is going to happen this year, and Michael Cera is on board. Trust me.”
Very well, then.
