OK, Now I Really Want to See 'Taken'

Here's a pretty intense scene from the upcoming dramatic action thrilla, Taken , starring Liam Neeson .

Normally, I'd set up the plot a little so this scene might have more context, but the beauty of this clip is that it establishes the entire story for you in two-and-a-half taut minutes.

Sweet! That's good stuff. Granted, Liam's speech at the end there is a little rehearsed; it's like his character had been waiting to use that spiel for years. But, that's a good first act, don't you think? Taken opens on January 30th.

Not to promote piracy or anything but there has been a dvd rip of this movie floating around on torrent sites for a couple of months now due to its much earlier release in other countries. Nevertheless the movie is a great performance by Liam Neeson and was much better then I expected and I would recommend seeing it when in comes out.

Ah, this delmege guy beat me to the punch, but yeah it's been out overseas for some time now. Also, it's an excellent movie.

Really nothing, she didn't say a thing. My best chance to being saved is giving clues, I know they are going to grab me, I KNOW I will just scream.
Looks like a great movie though.

Haha, Orinn. You make a very valid point, in the actual movie though there are several places in that clip that have a few more seconds added in and the scene is actually better then what we get to see right here.
