Ellen Page Celebrates a Crappy Canadian Thanksgiving

The second Monday in October is Canadian Thanksgiving. Without knowing the specifics (being an American and all), I would guess the date has something to do with an earlier harvest in the Great White North. I'm sure someone can confirm that or call me an idiot. Plenty have done the latter.

Anyway, in celebration of the holiday (which just so happens to be Columbus Day, home of the white sales, in the US), one of the country's biggest young stars, Ellen Page of the new film Whip It, stars in a new online short called Crappy Canadian Thanksgiving, which is part of a series of Crappy Holiday videos.

It co-stars Justin Long, and it would, in fact, be a crappy Canadian Thanksgiving. Not the funniest video I've ever seen, but in the spirit of the day, we'll overlook it.
