Although Quentin Tarantino says he's not going to make Kill Bill Vol. 3 for a few more years, he has apparently discussed some of his initial concepts with Uma Thurman. The verdict is, not surprisingly, positive. "He has not yet finished the script," she tells MTV. "I don't even really know if he's really started it, although I got a taste of some of his ideas and they are really good."

Of course, in general terms, we know where this could be going. Back in 2004, QT established what he thought we'd see in part three:

"I've already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale will get all of Bill's money. She'll raise Nikki, who'll take on The Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as The Bride deserved hers. I might even shoot a couple of scenes for it now so I can get the actresses while they're this age."It's a great idea, but it doesn't exactly work with the chronology he's currently using. Back then, the writer-director said it would be 15 years before we saw part three, but now he's cut that down to ten. I mean, I guess that's long enough; you can play like it's an extra five years. There are other ideas percolating, too, including Bill and Bride origin stories, but I like the one mentioned above. Plus, with Tarantino's storytelling ability, he can work origin stories in around the main thrust of the film. And, naturually, Thurman has to be back. It's the best she's ever been, I think.

I really hope this happens, I would love to see it all wrapped up in a Trilogy. I always thought there was a lot more to tell, and it looks like we might see it!
And I agree on Thurman being her best in this, she's dropped a lot of bombs in the past, but those 2 films were her trump card. You can't go wrong with QT, and they seem to work really well together. I would love to meet him so I could see what he's really like in person.
QT promised more Vega Bros. action at some point too, and we have yet to see that. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed that QT is going back to the well of old stories especially after seeing him mature so much as a film-maker this year with Inglorious Basterds. My guess is that his name and that film will be tossed around quite a bit come award season, and I'd like to see him get down to some more serious work.
