Funny New Trailer for 'The Men Who Stare at Goats'

The irony of Ewan McGregor questioning George Clooney's claim that he is a jedi warrior should not be lost on you, nor should the very subtle comedy between the two in this latest teaser trailer for The Men Who Stare at Goats.

It was the Coen Brothers who first fully tapped into Clooney's rather specific brand of comedy, which was dubbed "idiot comedy" during their three films together. Those three characters are always cocky, charismatic figures who have no idea how stupid they really are. It appears that Lyn Cassidy is another one of those morons.

By the way this teaser is put together, I'd say we're due for about three more of these trailers, one highlighting each of the main characters. Of course, this one proclaims Ewan McGregor but it's equally about Clooney, probably because by the set-up of the film, Clooney is McGregor's way into the events that are unfolding. Still, this is damn funny stuff:

What is the release date on this again? I think it is going to be absolutely great. Jeff Bridges looks hilarious.

November 6. I would've mentioned it, but they put it at the end of the trailer, so I didn't want to be redundant.
