Out of all the guys in the world who can do an Arnold Shwarzenegger impression, this is the best they can do? Fortunately, director Roland Emmerich gives us very little time to think about the Governator in this bombastic new clip from 2012.

We see John Cusack and Amanda Peet here, driving and flying for their lives as they try to escape the end of the world. And while the cynic in me watches a clip like this with complete incredulity, I have to marvel at the effects work, which even on a damn computer monitor looks pretty great. Roland Emmerich: You world-destroyin' sumbitch, you may have done it again.
This is a string of three or four scenes edited together, but they're all connected, so you won't feel disjointed, except of course by the planet collapsing on itself.
Who else hopes the end of the world is exactly like that? The only bad thing would be you'd never get to show anybody the ass-kicking video you got on your handheld because...well, they'd all be dead.

Since when was the last time you see a limo handle like that?
WOW!!! Thats all i got. I was already going opening day to this now i might just have to go a couple times opening weekend. Totally stoked for this movie
First thought when I saw the statue pic... so much for Rio and the 2016 olympics :D
Best. Comment. Ever.
"Since when was the last time you see a limo handle like that?"
Yeah, everything was totally realistic, that limo handling though, just ruins the whole thing.
It looked pretty impressive but I couldn't help but feel like I was watching the most expensively shot SNL video ever made... it was like a running gag-reel that had me laughing the whole time.
No movie is realistic and this is what Emmerich promise us. The whole world going to shit. So stop expecting some great story, The Day After Tomorrow also has story but it has amazing special efects. This movie is also has some story but this is a blockbuster so you should stop expecting something alse. This clip is awesome, I loved the few parts I listened of the Harald Kloser's score, and he's also the co-writer. I think that this movie with The Day After Tomorrow are going to be the best disaster (both climatic and tectonic) movies ever.
Did anyone see SNL's Arnold impression on the news update? That made this one look really good.
