Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 4:58PM New Set of Photos from 'Clash of the Titans' Remake
When we got our first real look at director Louis Leterrier's upcoming remake of Clash of the Titans - and on-set featurette from MTV - I was pleasantly surprised. It looked grittier, less splashy, and as much as it could, different from the version being remade.

Now there are several new photos from the film published in Empire and it's another step forward. Rather that imitating the 1981 film or ever trying to embody the campiness it showcased, looks like a darker action flick. That could all change when we see the effects, which could be too slick for everything else, but right now at least, I'm hopeful.
The new photos show more of Sam Worthington as Perseus, and we get our first glimpse of Liam Neeson as Zeus. Incidentally, the Neeson pics, the last in this set, are the only ones you can't expand if you choose to click on them.

The new Clash of the Titans will be released on March 26th. I would expect a trailer by the time next month rolls around.
