Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:07PM Tarantino Now On the Record for 'Kill Bill Vol. 3'
After the success of Inglourious Basterds, a lot of people wondered what
Quentin Tarantino's next move might be, and now we know for sure what the move after that will be. Provided
he doesn't change his mind.

That movie - the one to follow the next one - might be Kill Bill vol. 3. QT confirmed that the movie
will happen at some point this weekend at the Morelia International Film Festival, which is good news, but
according to Variety, Tarantino wants to give "Uma Thurman's central character and her daughter
Beebe 10 years of peace before the next bloody installment," a decision that would push the film to 2014.
Between now and then, though, Tarantino says he's open to just about anything. The one thing he did mention is that he's been looking to do a western or a gangster movie set in the 20s or 30s. Either would be cool, but I'd be really curious to see what QT could do with a western.
One thing we won't get is more Inglourious Basterds. Not now, anyway. He'd like to do a prequel or a sequel perhaps after the third Kill Bill, so that would keep him busy until about 2016.

Inglourious Basterds was as spaghetti western as they get. so doing a REAL western wouldn't be too different
