Edward and Bella in the Latest 'New Moon' Posters

The posters for The Twilight Saga: New Moon have been pretty boring, but at least they've been consistent. The scenery doesn't change much, and they sell what they need to: Team Edward, Team Other Guy, and Bella Swan. So it's hard to knock them, even though they have as much variety as hospital food. I think the Twilight posters are a little better on the whole, and having seen the most recent trailer for New Moon, which is by far the best supporting material for either film so far, the sequel's posters don't seem to be up to the challenge. The new batch features close-ups of the two stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. I'm reminded of Star Trek which used the exact same headshots about 16 different ways leading up to that film's release, and it did spectacularly well, and I have no doubt New Moon will be the biggest movie of the year released after mid-July. I just think these posters should try a little bit harder, you know?
