this is just going to be another kill them all until one guy is left with one predator isnt it? look people like the predator and are rooting for the predator but you still need that human that is larger than life. While i dont doubt Brody's talants as an actor, I was hoping for something more from robert rodgriguez. oh well guess gotta wait for the sequal for this to turn out ok

Maybe it's actually a chick flick masquarading as a Predator sequel? But that's an interesting casting choice. In Predator one we had strong white soldier, in Predator two we had a nervous black cop, and in this we're to have a streetwise NooYawker.

I really can't take this seriously, I just can't. Maybe when it gets further along in development and we get a better idea of the overall point of going back to this material. For now, I can't help but think Brody's approach to taking down Predators is right there in that image. That's right, he's going to look at them just like that and they're response will be to say... awww hell, this isn't worth it.

He must be playing some kind of military/CIA intelligence guy thrown into the field (like Nic Cage in The Rock). It shouldn't really matter how 'tough' or built the lead is because no matter what you can't out brawn the Predators anyway (just ask Sonny Landham).

if one was to guess, I would lean toward the AVP idea of needing to earn the respect of the predators.

P.S. I dont want the rock to be the leading roll, but can he be one of the background marines.

why are people complaning about this movie like it is supposed to be a gay beek cake film in the original predator Poncho was small as well as hawkins .. none of the big guys could go one on one with a predator it is impossible so being big has NOTHING to do with fighting a predator its about luck and tricking the predator into a trap ..arnold could not hurt the predator with out a trap and wespons so to complain about the size of the actors isstupid ..another thing the african is HUGE and the russian is HUGE and Danny Trejo is HUGE so RELAX PEOPLE.. DO peopel even know what steve McQueen looked like He was a Small guy it was his inner strenght that made him bad ass.. If an Oscar winning actor is fighting to geta part in this new predators movie that means it is going to be BAD ASS.. I only wish MIke J White was being cast as the super black predator because he is a super black martial arts man... If they get a seaquel that means an even bigger budget... I like the idea of a predator movie with no human leads... focusing on one main predator as he gos from planet to planet hunting aliens and such..

Im SO glad they did not cast the rock as the lead or a WWF guy as the lead..it needs ACTors along side giant men.. this movie has both actors and giant men..
