Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 3:32PM Finally! A Robert Pattinson Documentary!
Far be it from me to offend fans of Twilight, but what in the wide, wide world of sports
is a-goin' on here? Robert Pattinson is the subject of a new documentary? Screen Daily reports that UK film
distributor Revolver is making something called Robsessed, which will chronicle Pattinson's amazing five-year
career arc from uncredited performer in Vanity Fair to New Moon.
Says Revolver's Justin Marciano with dollar signs in his eyes, “Teenagers just can’t get enough of Robert Pattinson
and this broadcast quality biography is guaranteed to deliver whether on TV or home entertainment.” Man, you know
your film project is coming from a sincere place in your heart when you throw around adjectives like "broadcast
quality."
The plan is to release Robsessed in a box set with Pattinson's pre-Edwardian period film The Haunted
Airman, which Revolver also owns. That's one way to get your money back on picking up the rights to The
Haunted Airman, I guess.
To be fair to Pattinson, he's clearly the best thing about the first Twilight movie, and I even mentioned in
my review that he's got a little bit of the younger Johnny Depp in that performance. And I'm not 100% sure Pattinson
has any involvement in this documentary project whatsoever. I would guess it's a compilation of old interviews
thrown in with crowd hysteria and movie clips. I certainly don't get the vibe that he commissioned a documentary
about himself in his early 20s.
If you're looking for the DVD, Revolver will put it in stores not so coincidentally around the time New Moon is released.

Ridiculous....and I don't care if I offend Twilight fans ;-)
This is kinda hilarious I mean what the fuck....
Hey do you guys wana think about something...
Dustin Hoffman's second role in a film was (drumroll) THE GRADUATE.. yes one of my favorite movies of all time, and he became a BAFTA and Golden Globe Best Actor winner and Academy Award Nominee....
This happened only after a few commercials and theatre work... then BOOM on top of the world (figuratively) and he was 30 yrs old...which is very old but looked like a teenager... go figure
But the point being, I dont think they made a documentary out of him....
-I wish I was around back then to see the mayhem surrounding him at that time
Come on this is ridiculous, he just made Twilight it's not even a good film, or great film, its popcorn fun!
"and he was 30 yrs old...which is very old"
Really? I had no idea 30 was the new old folks retirement home age.
LOL haha
sorry for the inblatent diss... if you'd want to call it that...
what I meant to say is 30 years old is fairly an old age to become a big breakout star and have such a marvelous career following that...
anyone can tell you that most actors in this buisness begin at an age of around their early 20's and build up to a star
i think its a good idea i mean it may not be a good idea to you but there are teen fans out there that do wanna see something like this, including me, im sixteen and a huge fucking fan of twilight in general and frankly if there doing a movie about my favorite books than i would like to see some insight on who the actors are, since there bringing SM's characters to life. and if you think its a bad idea and don't care about it then why hell are you on here voicing your opinion when you obviously have no idea what your talking about, read the fucking books than come on here.
