Check Out the New 'Clash of the Titans' Trailer

Our friends at Trailer Spy have the new Clash of the Titans trailer (they also have a cool new iPhone app, but we'll get into that next week). At first, I had my doubts: Not a Louis Leterrier fan, seemed like a cash-in attempt after 300, and the original's just not that good. It's fun enough, but not that good.

However, this is a much darker Titans, and the evidence of that is everywhere - set photos, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and now this trailer. Kudos to Leterrier and his producers for giving Sam Worthington the Perseus role. Because of all the other factors, it may prove to be the most beneficial of the three blockbuster roles he'll have in a one-year span. Terminator was a supporting turn and Avatar appears to have a million things going on at once, so who knows how that will shake out.

Clash of the Titans look like it could be a blast, and unless I miss my guess, that's been the goal all along.

Yeah, that's much cooler than it sounded when they announced the remake, don't you think? Clash of the Titans opens on March 26th.

Not a huge fan of the song they used...reminds me of XxX. But this looks as good or better as anything else coming out in the next 6 months or so.
