Weekend Recap - '2012,' 'Thor,' MGM's (Mis)fortunes
Monday, November 16, 2009 at 5:11AM
There hasn't been a lot of box office to crow about in the last few weeks, but the blockbuster is back thanks
to 2012. We knew it would be big, but worldwide, Sony had one of the top ten openings ever. That includes $65 million here in
the states and I don't think it will come to a halt in the next few days. So expect this one to make a lot of money.

That's the top story of the weekend, but there are a few others we'd like to direct you to, inlcluding some new video from the
upcoming Ninja Assassin and a brief interview with Kathryn Bigelow and other members from the creative team of The Hurt
Locker, plus an update on Marvel's Thor.
