The Mad Hatter's 'Alice in Wonderland' Poster

Here's another new poster for Alice in Wonderland, which - wow, really? - is now only about four months away. This new look at the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) comes from, where else, The Disloyal Subjects of the Mad Hatter, a Facebook Group that looks suspiciously like a studio creation. I know everybody's all "Avatar's gonna blow your effing mind and change the game, man. The game." That's fine, and maybe it will, but for more practical live-action 3-D applications, I think Alice might be the movie to keep your eye on. It just seems like a natural environment for Tim Burton, and even though he's tested the waters of 3-D before with the stop-motion films, this is a different kettle of fish. Bright, colorful, weird, 3-D...that's got Tim Burton written all over it. It might be too self-indulgent, of course, but I'm still really looking forward to this. Alice opens March 5th.
