Rachel McAdams as Black Cat in 'Spider-Man 4'?

If nothing else, this little item gives us a chance to show a picture of Rachel McAdams. So, enjoy.

Although we'd heard The Lizard would be our Spider-Man 4 villain, Mania.com says that McAdams is "a top contender" to play
The Black Cat aka Felicia Hardy. Under ideal circumstances, why not. Of course, under ideal circumstances, we'd all just clone
Rachel McAdams and be done with it. But Spidey has a bit of a multiple villain malaise, so as fun as it sounds to have her
involved, let's see what else is on the table here.
Black Cat, like every femme fatale in comic books, also complicates the hero's personal life, and she can be a villain or an ally to
the webslinger. But as long as they're still married to the notion that anyone gives a damn about Mary Jane Watson, I don't think
that would happen.
Sam Raimi's a great director, so maybe, just maybe, Spider-Man 3 was a complete miscalculation and not indicative of what he can do with more than one villain. The good news is Raimi's not also writing this chapter, because that experiment didn't work. But still...you've got to learn that lesson, don't you think?
McAdams clearly wants to be in bigger projects, even though she tended to avoid them after her breakout year of 2005. This would count.

To be honest as much as I love the lizard he's not really a central movie villain in my opinion. I don't the film would have enough punch with just him... Black cat is not a bad idea, and McAdams playing her certainly makes it appealing.
Yeah, I agree that Lizard's not the strongest solo villain, but so much of that has to do with the way comics are constructed, where you do have time and space to devote to a parade of bad guys. They can't all be The Joker...
Just as long as they pick just 1 villian, I'll be happy.
