Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 10:56AM Tarantino Won't Call 'Kill Bill Vol. 3' 'Kill Bill Vol. 3'
If (or more likely, when)
Quentin Tarantino returns to the Bride wars, it won't be called
Kill Bill Vol. 3. There's simple logic involved: Bill's done been killed. Oops...forgot the spoiler alert. QT
told
MTV recently he's already come to terms with that, and he'd have to give it a new name.

"It wouldn't be Kill Bill, " Tarantino stated. "It would be Volume 3 of the story of the Bride." But that's about as far as he's taken it,
apparently. "There's no script; there are just ideas and notes," Tarantino said. "I won't do that next, but it could very well be the thing I do
after next."
We'd heard that last bit before, marking one of the few times Tarantino has stayed consistent with his plans. Among the possibilities several months
ago were a western and a classic gangster movie, and each of those genres has clearly fed the filmmaker QT has become. And I think he should make
one more movie before whatever the third Bride movie winds up being simply because he should continue to branch out after the tremendous commercial
and critical success of
Inglourious Basterds.
If you go back to October, here's
what Tarantino said about a third installment:

"I've already got the whole mythology: Sofie Fatale will get all of Bill's money. She'll raise Nikki, who'll take on The Bride. Nikki deserves her revenge every bit as much as The Bride deserved hers. I might even shoot a couple of scenes for it now so I can get the actresses while they're this age."I don't think he'll have any trouble making this movie if he stays on course and doesn't get distracted by some other projects. Remember, it took the better part of a decade for Basterds to fully take shape. But there's no qualms about the story...if he'd just commit it to paper.

Personally I think they should called it Kill Kiddo.
