Time film critic Richard Corliss has released his list of the best films of the year, and it's a family friendly top three. Corliss drops a triple threat of animation on yo ass: The Princess and the Frog, Up, and Fantastic Mr. Fox.

10- Thirst To me, this underscores how unusual the year truly is. There's a small number of consensus picks, and many of the films due out in the next few weeks just aren't living up to expectations. That may or may not the Best Picture race itself, because it's so dominated by marketing at this point, but the critics lists, after Up, Hurt Locker, and Up in the Air, will probably be all over the road.
