Friday, December 11, 2009 at 8:21AM Three New 'Clash of the Titans' Posters
You never know - Clash of the Titans might be really cool. I like that they've gone with a grittier approach for the remake (because at the alarming cost of film production these days, there's no way they could have afforded the same amount of high-grade cheese present in the 1981 original), and even beyond that, the limited footage we've seen looks like they got it right.

So now there are three new posters, emphasizing Sam Worthington as Perseus, minus the flowing locks of Harry Hamlin. I really have no complaints here. They're not fantastic, but I think it's interesting that these three one-sheets are so colorful when the movie itself seems pretty devoid of color. But I like the move here because so many movie posters right now have sucked the life out of them with that high contrast/low saturation look.
Director Louis Leterrier has a quality line-up, including Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes (who goes from Voldemort to Hades), and new hotness Gemma Arterton. None of them are featured here, but we'll see them sooner or later, I'm sure.

Titans, which could be one of the big successes of early 2010, hits theaters on March 26th.

Sam Worthington is my kinda guy. I hope this does for him, what '300' did for Gerard Butler.
This looks more and more like "Clash of the Titans" BY WAY OF '300". If it turns out good, we have Zack Snyder to thank.
